Sometimes opening it in the cauldron, sometimes with weapons and sometimes by throwing it from the mountain, but all his efforts failed, because Prahlad was blessed by God. At last he thought of killing Prahlad along with his sister Holika.
At first Holika refused but later she was forced to come under pressure from her brother. And wearing the clothes of her fire shield, took Prahlad with her and sat in the fire, she secretly put the clothes of her fire shield on Prahlad. And she got burnt in the fire.
